The Elephant In Siem Reap Was Unconscious and Died Later
According to a facebook post, an elephant in Siem Reap was exhausted from carrying tourist around angkor wat area, then felt into unconscious and died afterward.

i never have nor never will ride an elephant...
i dont know the difference between going to see an elephant and having to ride one...

^^^Bang on. I never have and never will ride an elephant. I don't see the point. Of course, having had to ride work horses from time to time long ago, I definitely can't recommend riding any animal just for recreation purposes.

Is it overly hot for the season in SR right now ? There was also the case of the colony of bats who all died, presumably of heat also ?
