these "handlers" should have been handling elephants for years now, so im quite sure they know how much water elephants drink, they are more like "i dont give a shit" ass people, cruel ass people or i dont have enough money to buy water for elephant ass people, now the elephant is dead, their source of income is gone. how typically short sighted as with 90% in this country

this is the internet, all people jump to conclusion, as did i, the weather was freaking hot and elephant died, at least we are not out wielding pitch forks and lighted torches

The fact an elephant is captive and being used to bring in tourist dollars is enough mistreatment for me to say the elephant was abused.

No wild animal should be used to give tourists a ride and used like this one was.

I agree but for all we know this particular elephant could of lived a very long age and died of natural causes
