Banteay Meas Police Crack Down on Sophisticated Gambling Set Up
Cambodia News, Kampot: Four men were arrested and taken into custody when Banteay Meas district police cracked down on a smart gambling set up in Svay Paem village, Ang Ang Khang Cheung commune today April 9, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.
During the operation, the force detained four suspects and confiscated some evidence such as a mat and three pairs of sandals.

Cambodia News, (Pursat): On April 18, 2021, at 8:08 pm, the police cracked down on gambling at the house of the person named Phal Pheakdey, a 32-year-old man, in Beung Smok village, Krokor district, Pursat.
The police confiscated some playing cards, a mat, and 4 motorbikes. The house owner was arrested with the evidence for education.

Women Arrested for Playing Cards Because it Spreads Covid
Cambodia News (Takeo): The police arrested 3 women who played cards in the Kirivong district, Takeo. According to the information from lieutenant Sok Somnang, Takeo police chief, his inspector led the police force to crack down gambling in Chroy village, Kirivong district, Takeo, after the police were informed that some women were gambling at home.
The three suspects were identified as Chom Sreyno, 48 years old, Thon Noeun, 48 years old, and Soun Pally, 35 years old. The police confiscated a motorbike, a mat, and cards.
The three women were educated and agreed not to play cards anymore in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
