Teenagers in Kandal Held for Drugs

Cambodia News (Kandal): The Anti-drug police collaborated with Saang Phnom police to arrest two suspects who delivered drugs to Tani 611 guesthouse in Kandal on April 6, 2021, at 10:20 am, in Saang district, Kandal. 7 teenagers who were waiting at the guesthouse, were detained for questioning.

The suspects were identified as Cheng Sokha, 16 years old, a former prisoner, and Touch Itan, 18 years old. The police confiscated 4 packets of the drug methamphetamine(ICE) , a motorbike, and a phone.

The two suspects said they bought 4 packs of drugs that cost 30,000 riels from Sarem Pov, 18 years old, in Tanou village, Saang district, Kandal. After questioning, the police detained 7 suspects at Tani 611 guesthouse for a drug test. They received negative drug tests, so they were released home.

At 10:30 am, the Kandal court's prosecutor ordered the two suspects to be sent to Saang police station following the legal procedure.
