Prostitute swarm tactic devastatingly effective

A group of criminals in Phnom Penh’s Daun Penh district employed the classic “distract them with five sex workers” technique to make off with a motorbike in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Police said the 22-year-old victim was travelling home with a friend after visiting relatives when the five women blocked their way and urged them to spend the night with them.

As soon as they stopped, eight men appeared with sticks and belts and made off with the driver’s bike and phone.
