Suspected Rooftop Thief was Unhappy Drug Addict

Cambodia news, Kandal Province: When locals saw a man on the roof of a house, they thought he must be a thief, so the owner and the villagers shouted out "Thief!" and then the man jumped off the roof on to the ground. The local people were shocked at this incident which happened on October 22, 2020 in Stung Chrov Village, Sangkat Dem Mean, Takhmao City, Kandal Province.

Finally, the bystanders saw that the man was not carrying the usual burglar tools, and it turns out that he was a drug addict who wanted to commit suicide.

The man broke both his arms in the fall and he was taken to Lok Sang Hospital for treatment by ambulance.
