Surrogacy nurse's son arrested for strange behaviour, to be deported.
26yo Dylan CHARLES, the son of imprisoned Australian surrogacy broker, Tammy Davis-Charles, was arrested while walking along St 360 Phnom Penh at 7am on the morning of 25 January 2016. Charles was shirtless and disoriented, and appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, attempting to throw paving stones at passing cars.
His mother was arrested and imprisoned last November, and with no resolution in sight, Charles may have cracked under the strain.

According to posts on social media,it is definitely time for Charles to go home, and deportation is the best thing that could happen to him. In Cambodia, no way to go but down.

Cambodia: one minute you're a white knight here to save your mother, the next you're smoking ice and having all-nighters in clubs.

Re: Surrogacy nurse's son arrested for strange behaviour, to be deported.
From the Sydney Morning Herald, 31 January 2017:
Son of Australian alleged surrogacy agent to be deported from Cambodia
The son of an Australian nurse charged with running a surrogacy agency in Cambodia has been detained and is set to be deported from the country.
Dylan Charles, the 26 year-old son of Tammy Davis-Charles, was found shirtless while walking along a Phnom Penh street at 7am last Wednesday, according to local police chief Kul Sophat.
Ms Davis-Charles is in a Phnom Penh jail awaiting trial on charges relating to her allegedly operating a commercial surrogacy agency in the country where the government has declared the practice to be human trafficking, pending formation of legislation that has not yet been drafted.
She has not commented publicly on the charges.
Cambodian television last week showed Mr Charles in a news bulletin handcuffed and with wounds on his left knee and foot. "Happened when my passport n cash/cards stolen," he wrote in a comment alongside the clip, according to The Cambodia Daily.
Mr Charles has been visited by Australian embassy officials.
An Interior Ministry official said Mr Charles was being detained in immigration detention pending his deportation for allegedly destroying private property and being without a passport.

Son of Jailed Surrogacy Broker Deported Weeks After Arrest
March 13, 2017
The son of a jailed Australian surrogacy broker has finally been deported more than a month after he was arrested for allegedly destroying private property while wandering shirtless in Phnom Penh.
Dylan Charles came to Cambodia late last year in an attempt to free his mother, Tammy Davis-Charles, who was arrested in November a few weeks after the government outlawed commercial surrogate pregnancies in the country.
He was arrested on January 25 and had been languishing in detention at the Interior Ministry’s immigration department ever since. On Friday, the 26-year-old was deported from Phnom Penh International Airport, said Uk Heisela, the department’s chief of investigations.
“His father bought the plane ticket and came to take him,” Major General Heisela said.
Mr. Charles was arrested by Boeng Keng Kang I commune police after he was seen walking without a shirt along Street 360 in Chamkar Mon district and attempting to throw paving stones at passing vehicles in the early morning...
