Well that escalated quickly. I'm not going to speak for Violet, perhaps you can ask her why your comment was ironic. I don't normally offer this level of personal information, but it seems important to you, so:Honey69 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 27, 2018 11:07 pmSorry Sir, i still don't get where is the irony. What i have read your postings, i have a idea that you are a very nice smart guy and i am not looking any fight with you. Just would like to understand your point of view.
If you mean that i am not supporting some westerners complaining about Chinese people doing good things for Cambodia, then blame on me.
I wonder what those westerners has done for Cambodia? (1)How much you (they) paid in taxation last year to Cambodia? (2)How much money did you (they) bring from outside of Cambodia in to Cambodia and in to local economy?
(3)How many people do you (they) employ and (4)how much salary are you (they) paying to them each month?
These are just some questions i would like to know from people who are so eager to criticize about what China is doing.
1. Probably a lot more tax than you paid.
2. Six figures.
3. Up to five at any time, and most of those have at some point worked as child slaves in garment factories. Guess which country owns those factories?
4. Well above national averages. We also pay people a full time wage while they attend school part time to complete Year 9, and 12, and University if they choose, as they were denied those opportunities as kids.
This is me, personally. How about you, personally? Not any company you might represent, but you, personally.

Well you spoke for Violet since you started this irony thing from my comment for Violet karma comment for Duncan.StroppyChops wrote: ↑Wed Jun 27, 2018 11:17 pmWell that escalated quickly. I must be very stupid since i still don't understand where is the irony and why you picked that up.
I did not ask you personal information, hence i wrote (they) and i meant generally for China criticizers. Sorry English is my 3rd language and like you can see, i am not fluent, far away from that.
Like i said, i am not looking any fight with you and i personally salute your kind of people who don't take advantage of other people and help other people. I do personally same in my personal and professional life and we have very strict policies in my companies about how people are treated. Thanks to those policies i am lucky to have a lot of super talented workers who stay long time working for me.
1. You are correct on this. I don't have yet companies in Cambodia so i don't pay taxation there.
I am living in China and i have now 13 companies here and i paid personal tax last year around 4.7 million USD to China. My companies bring outside of China money in here to local economy last year around 1.064 Billion USD. I am proud to say that thanks to my efforts, many poor families here has much better life now. But i am not boosting any my ego, i love my workers and do my best to make sure they are happy and safe. They are the most important part of the business. Workers and customers.
2. I spent last year 1.7 million USD in Cambodia directly to small family owned businesses just on holidays etc. Also i brought my friends there who have now invested to Cambodia in different projects and businesses over 180 million USD last year alone and this year it is going to double. Lots of Cambodian people have well paid work in those projects and businesses.
3. Very silly this point from you. Why blame the owners of factories? Why in first place those children's where there, who sold them? Very stupid to blame end thing when actually you should go to the source, you must know this. Still i salute you for helping people but your blame is in wrong place.
4. This is great you are doing this.
I generally don't understand why you try to pick a fight with me. Other than i support China's peaceful efforts to make a world better place.
Everybody should take a hard look from mirror and think what i did today to make other people happy and successful.
Very stupid to cry on forum that Chinese this and Chinese that when actually Chinese people are just the most smart and hard working people on the planet with great values. Anybody who cries otherwise for sure don't even have Chinese friends. When you have Chinese friends, you will understand what is true friendship.

So, aside from the taxes and good works being mentioned can we get back to the discovery of a new species for Cambodia. Thats pretty amazing considering the illegal sand dredging, wildlife trade and deforestation in Asia is decimating species by the hour. Honey you maybe interested in reading further online about which countries in Asia are creating the demand for that illegal trade in endangered species.
