Stephen William King Dies in Sihanoukville, Cambodia GH

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

Steve King used to live in Sihanoukville and managed Panda Guesthouse right on Golden Lion Roundabout. He moved to Siem Reap a couple of years ago to help Pat establish Panda GH Siem Reap. He then bought his own guesthouse in SR ( I can't remember the name) He also started the Cambodia Scammers FB page.He also was a very good website designer by all accounts
He could be a bit of a prickly character at times, but wasn't a bad bloke.
R.I.P Steve and condolonces to his family and friends.
I just saw that. Didn't realize at the time it was the same Stephen King/Steve King.

No just one of the admins ;)

I couldn't get my old account - stupid system would not recognise my email addresses

so only first post in new persona.

Hopefully having 4 of us on the team means fairness - Steve did a great job policing the numerous vendettas online...cough, cough...K9...cough, cough. We'll try and do the same :dm:
