Steel fell from the under construction building in Olympia City Project

Phnom Penh: According to Koh Santepheap Daily News, Around 10:30 am on 11 November 2015, there was a 30 centimeter steel fell from the under-construction building on a car. No people reported to have injury from this incident.

To finish it up, the construction manager paid 400 dollar to the owner of the car.

Note, this was not the first time. In 2014 there was a 4 meter long steel fell from this building too. It fell on a woman who was riding motorbike with her kid. It caused her to die immediately at the scene. The company compensated 50000 dollar to the victim family. Chinese and Cambodian foremen were brought to the municipal court of Phnom Penh.

Isn't this the second incident like this?

Didn't some falling debris hit and kill a lady on a motorbike last year at the same location?

Either way with the health and safety standards in Cambodia I am not surprised. In fact, I'm surprised you don't hear of these incidents more often.
