These photos have been on my mind all day, etched into the inside of my eyelids. It's a horrible accident, and like stroppy, I'm curious as to how it happened. My only conclusion is that she was sitting sidesaddle when the moto got hit from the side (behind her). She didn't see it coming, was thrown airborne and landed heavily in a kneeling position, causing that. Excruciating.

The injuries seem to be cuts from a straight edge, they're not impact splits.

Sorry that I don't have any more info. It was just one of those attention-grabbing posts on Facebook that goes whizzing down my feed.

And, contrary to what some peeps think, I don't post things for shock value, but these injuries just looked too peculiar.

Again, I don't post images just for their gruesome nature, but for the strangeness of their stories. And fucked up stories/events have a high likelihood of ending in a gruesome manner.

It is.

There was a spate of knobheads running garroting wire across bush riding paths in an attempt to behead motorcross riders some time back in Oz, the injuries look similar to that. She appears to have hit wire, a sharp bumper, the edge of a sign, or similar.

It's not her. I figured the girl I know who looks similar would be very unlikely to be on a motorbike anyway, more likely to be driving a Range Rover.
