Speeding Cintri Truck Hits Power Pole
Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): A Cintri garbage truck hit an electrical pole on April 1, 2021, at 08:50 am, on national road 3, Prey Kombot village, Sangkat Chom Chao 2, Khan Porsenchey, Phnom Penh.
Before the incident, the locals saw a Cintri garbage truck, with no license plate, driving along the street 30 from east to west at high speed, when it hit an electrical pole and a traffic sign. The truck was stuck on the pole, but nobody was injured.
After the incident, the police checked the accident and took the truck to keep at the police station, waiting to sort out the problem later.

what is that pole made off... Sturdy stuff... Does not even look bent.
Re: Speeding Cintri Truck Hits Power Pole
Concrete power poles are closely related to concrete road dividers and both are considered to be more than able to stand up to regular punishment meted out to them by Cambodian/Chinese drivers.
No mention if the driver did the "olympic sprint from the scene of a crash" time trial. I'm sure some of the Khmer drivers could give Usain Bolt a run for his money after they have crashed their moto, car, truck, bus.

Re: Speeding Cintri Truck Hits Power Pole
I haven't noticed them ever going more than about 1km per hour before. My frontage looks like a garbage tip most days now. Mainly because they come so infrequently that everything bagged is torn to bits by dogs and recyclers if it's out too long. Even when there's absolutely nothing useful in there.
Silence, exile, and cunning.
