Son of former actor jumped to death from 16th floors condo

Phnom Penh: According to Kampuchea Thmey Daily News, a man jumped from 16th floors condo and fell on a rented house which left him dead immediately at the scene. It’s believed that he was under the influence of drug.

This incident happened around 19:00 pm on 19 December 2015 at a condo called Noblesse Residence located on street 337, village number 6, group 21, Beoung Kok I commune, Toul Kok district.

According to the owner of the rented house where the man fell on, before the incident happened they were having dinner and then the man fell down with his head broken and brain scattered around and died immediately. They were shocked and later they reported it to police.

The man named Huy Chin, 27 years old, the son of a tycoon and former actor. Before he jumped to death he asked his driver to buy him drug, but the driver refused then he locked the door of his room and jumped off. His body was brought to Kandal province for making funeral.

Actor’s son leaps from 16th floor

The son of a prominent tycoon publicly committed suicide on Saturday evening by jumping from the 16th floor of a Phnom Penh apartment block after years of battling with drug addiction.

The man crashed through the roof of a neighbour’s house, startling her as she watched TV.

Twenty-five-year-old Huy Chhin – the son of Oknha Huy Koeng, a former actor and producer – jumped off of a Tuol Kork district condo building, according to police.

Chhin’s family said he had been taken to rehab multiple times before his death, and had warned people that he planned to take his own life.

My girlfriend knew him very well and spoke to him on the telephone in the early hours of the morning he died. He was ok then. She had no idea he was feeling depressed or any problems. She had known him for years.

When she read all the RIP's on his facebook she could not believe what happened. She has read all the news articles so many times in total disbelief. It took her two days to accept it had happened, she kept playing the recorded voice messages he had sent her on messenger.
