Kampong Chhnang Province: Tensions are rising as the uncollected market garbage is being trampled on by residents and vendors in Market 5, Or Russey district, Kompong Tralach district, Kompong Chhnang province, creating a possible health hazard for all users of the market.
In addition, the market is held on the side of National Rd 5 where many vehicles stop for food and refreshment, and the smell has become so unbearable that it drives away the customers.
In a case similar to the recent problems of garbage removal in Banlung, there is conflict over who is responsible for the mounds of stinking market rubbish. Kampong Chhnang Village turned into Rubbish Dump.
Villagers are in distress since the Kampong Chhnang garbage company have elected to dump rubbish collections next to their homes.
The inhabitants of Prey Krab village, Prey Rour commune, Rolea Pha district, Kampong Chhnang say that the flies are driving them mad, the smell is unbearable, and the village children are becoming sick. They say they cannot live like this and they are pleading with the authorities to intervene with the garbage company on their behalf.

Basically with a few exceptions it's going in the right direction.

I've just returned from cleaning the roadside in front of our home. Some people can't wait to dump their trash at the market.
Anyway I am curious to know what you hold those "few exceptions" to be.
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.
