Sleeping truck driver ploughs into 7-day ceremony tent

At 12:50 am on Saturday, June 6, 2018, near Bece along Street 371, in Thmor Chrum 1, Boeung Tumpun II, Khan Mean Chey, Phnom Penh, a 25 year old man driving a red truck carrying the number plate, Phnom Penh 3D-9332, ploughed into a tent constructed on the road for a funeral ceremony. He is believed to have fallen asleep at the wheel.
Fortunately, the tent was empty of the occupants at that time of night and no one was hurt. The driver, who did not flee the scene of the accident, is required to arrange the compensation with the tent owners.

I caught a bus from Pursat to PP the other day. At one point we were behind a big heavy truck with a load of rubble or something which was travelling straight down the middle of the centre line. Pretty sure the driver was drifting off to sleep. The bus driver blasted his horn a lot and eventually the truck moved to the right and we overtook. I got a good look and the driver was awake but didn't look very alert. Scary out there.
