Two foreigners arrested for overstaying

Sihnoukville: According to Koh Santepheap Daily News, in the morning on 17, August, 2015, the department of immigration of Sihnoukville province arrested 2 foreigners for overstaying at the guest house call Soth Lai located in group number 4, village number 4, and commune number 4, Sihanoukville.

According to the source, the first foreigner names ERBAS ALI, male, Turkish, 37 years old. He had been overstaying in Cambodia for 14 days. The second foreigner names SOKOLOV ILIA, male, Turkish, 30 years old. He had been overstaying in Cambodia for 29 days.
Recently they are being detained and questioned at the department of immigration.

Sihanoukville: The last time the morning of August 17, 2015, the Immigration Bureau has arrested 2 people to stay at home by aliens silk Lai 7 4 4 - Sihanoukville stay relevant visas
. The source said that the 2 foreigners 1. Top ERBAS ALI nationality male 37-year-old Turkish passport expired on 22 May 2015 and the visa T No. 00086552 expired since August 3, 2015 (14 days) until the day of his arrest and 2 male SOKOLOV ILIA nationality, 30-year-old Turkish passport holders expired on 17 June 2016 and the Visa T 09530519 expired since the first day July 20, 2015 (29 days) until the day of his arrest. Currently, the 2 suspects are being questioned at the immigration office to fill out the document sent to General Department of Immigration.

I suspect they did something to get on the police radar. They are Turks and one has a bandage on his head.

Yeah....probably. But the second one doesn't look Turkish nor has he a Turkish name (SOKOLOV ILIA). Sounds like Russian to me.

Yeah, there is a lot of overstaying foreigners down here and also Cambodia wide.I know plenty in PP and a few in SR. Bloody stupid imo. Visa, Rent & Food, should be the priorities of ANYONE who wants to live long term in ANY foreign country. Unfortunately, sex, drugs and alcohol, not necessarily in that order, seems to be the prioritisation of many Cambodian long termers.
Fuk em.I have no sympathy for them at all if they are more then say, a week overdue. That could conceivably be because of a mistake in timing.
