A man arrested for stealing people belongings on Koh Rong

Sihanoukville: According to Kampuchea Thmey Daily News, a suspect was arrested by police on Koh Rong following a complaint made by the victim. He was arrested around 9:30 am on 07 December 2015 located in Koh Touch village, Koh Rong commune, Sihanoukville province.

The victim accused him of stealing her belongings from Baitong (Green) guest house located in Koh Touch village, Koh Rong commune.
Police said the victim is a female Israeli tourist named Ravid Gal, female, 22 years old.

Police said, the victim lost 400 dollars and a Samsung s5. The suspect was arrested at the pier at Koh Touch village while he was waiting to talk the boat back to the shore. The suspect named Noun Peakday, 22 years old. Police found all belongings claimed by the victim and other stuff that he stole from other tourists on Koh Rong in his backpack. He was brought to provincial police station and police filed the case to send him to municipal court for future legal action.
