Agreed, I am not sure I'd stop. Khmer have this total mob mentality and it quickly gets out of hand.
I started driving in Kenya where people would get killed when they stopped after running over a chook:-(

I've been in a car accident here, some squirt on a moto saw I was hesitant pulling out of a junction and drove at me, dropped his bike under the front bumper, minor scratches etc. Stopped and got out as a normal person would. Then the negotiations began. You have to bring people onto your team, there was a lot of curious bystanders, some who spoke good English. It's very much like the scene in Life of Brian when he tries to buy a beard only with a massive peanut gallery, it's an Arabian bazaar with wild claims and denials. Takes hours and hours to resolve, sat in the hot sun. Do not move the vehicle until it is done, or the cops have come and squirted spray paint about the place if you want some sort of judicial negotiation when your initial streetside one fails. Even if it's in the middle of a busy road junction. Some cunt deliberately drove his car into the back of mine whilst it was stopped for a smashed light and $50 piss off money. Never miss an opportunity.
Now I plow through junctions without a care for motos and any other smaller road user, and have been accident free since. But no, don't run, no one is going to kill you unless you've killed their buddy and then tried to run off - they will pound you with rocks and stones then. If everyone is alive and breathing you're fine.

I have insurance through Infinity, simply stop and call them, costs me around $100/year, accident/3rd party etc.
(@Infinity: mine is red wine)

Love the 'tiny car' bit .. he's obviously very poor driving such a minuscule vehicle .. I'll lay odds it was the Khmer's fault ..
Have you seen the way the average young Khmer male drives?? Is it any wonder there are terrible accidents here?? So sad.
