Your sense of logic is almost as poor as your literacy. He is very likely to have smuggled quite a lot more than what he was prosecuted for.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

No no no I won't have that... His logic is far worse than he's literacy.

CEO News: Note that this article (below) from today's Khmer Times contains contradictory statements as to the nationalities of the gunmen, so please read and interpret the following information with due care.
What is apparent is that the media attention is now firmly focused on the gang members who freed the prisoner, while the escaped convict responsible for the outcry has disappeared, and his name - Chen Hsin Han - is not even being mentioned in the press articles.

Seven US citizens have been arrested for storming a dental clinic in Siem Reap and freeing a prisoner who was there for treatment. The freed Chinese national is still on the run.

General Mak Chito, a National Police Deputy Chief said the seven suspects – six Cambodian-American citizens and a Chinese-American – were arrested by police in a raid on a hotel in Phnom Penh on Friday.

Gen Chito named the seven suspects Phev Braseth Seth, In Chanthy, Savy Savuth, Som David, Rem Sophal, Frost Sarath Sean and the Chinese-American as Chloe Yinrong.

He added that the seven suspects would be sent to the Phnom Penh Municipal Court for questioning and legal action today.

Gen Chito said the hunt for the escaped convict and 10 other suspects continues.

“They probably will attempt to flee the country,” he said.

“This is the first case of foreigners involved in breaking out a prisoner,” Gen Chito said yesterday.

“They are a well-organised criminal group from the United States. They were hired to break out the Chinese drug convict from the prison in Siem Reap,” he said.

“They admitted they had been planning for two months to break out the Chinese drug convict from prison and they arrived in Cambodia only about two weeks ago,” he said.

Gen Chito said security along the borders has been stepped up and National Police Chief General Neth Savoeun has directed all provincial checkpoints bordering Thailand, Vietnam and Laos to strictly scrutinise departing foreigners to apprehend the suspects.

The National Police Chief, he added, had also directed maritime police to be on the lookout for the suspects’ group.

Gen Chito added that Cambodian authorities have also alerted neighbouring countries as well as the International Criminal Police Organisation, commonly known as Interpol, to help apprehend the suspects.

The group of five masked gunmen stormed a clinic on Thursday morning in Siem Reap city, to free a Chinese prisoner while he was receiving dental treatment.

The escape took place at about 8 am at the Chum Chenda Clinic located in Ta Phoul village, Svay Dangkum commune, Siem Reap city.

Siem Reap city police deputy Chief Lieutenant Colonel Mom Sarin told Khmer Times that at about 8 am on the 17th, four prison officers brought a Chinese prisoner, convicted for drug trafficking, for dental treatment at the clinic.

The four officers were stationed outside the treatment room while the prisoner was being treated, when a group of five masked gunmen stormed into the clinic, Lt Col Sarin said.

“During the raid, the five gunmen, who are Chinese nationals, pointed their weapons at the officers and handcuffed them,” Lt Col Sarin told Khmer Times.

“After the officers were handcuffed, they freed the prisoner and took him to a waiting Lexus 330 vehicle and fled the scene,” he said.

Police found the escape vehicle about an hour later in a secluded spot on the outskirts of the city, he said.

Five pistols with silencers, five masks and five sets of gloves were found in the escape vehicle, he added.

Siem Reap Provincial Prison Deputy Chief Brigadier General Seng Samooeun named the prisoner as Chen Hsin Han, 45.

Chen was jailed 52 years after he was convicted of “drug transport and trafficking” under Article 40 of Cambodia’s Law on Drugs Control and was arrested on February 11, 2009, he said.

“This is the first time an incident like this has occurred in Siem Reap province,” he said.

“To prevent such events from happening in the future, we will be strengthening our security protocol,” Brig Gen Samooeun added.

The timeline they describe between these two articles of her with the Siem Reap gang and then getting busted for weed don't correlate. They said they had all of the Siem Reap gang in custody by the morning of the 18th. She didn't get busted in her bar for weed until 5:15pm on the 18th? 🤔🤔

It’s interesting how they photoshop this to make it appear all these people are arrested together. Typical sloppy and misleading reporting from the Khmer “press” and police

Have you considered that
Spoiler:
they are all corrupt and they were paid off to let this guy walk away?
Shocking, I know
