I can question the validity of the claim, because if they had phones, they are not in the full sense of the phrase "locked in a room" with no means of communication / rescue / succor, are they?

Umm, I can question whether that threat was ever made, can't I? Would a jealous ex- twist an innocent relationship to maliciously attack her ex-? Yes, without a doubt, it's certainly possible in Cambodia. Happens every day in the West, too.

So, all you snowflake dupes have really got is a Somaly Mam-type accusation, NO physical abuse, and 1/2 days or more of physical "detention". If they had phones, then I'd throw out that term "detention." More like, "recreation." A place to relax and play with their phones or something, better than back in the village.

I am not an Australian. However l meet Jim through the ANZAC service in Sihanoukville. Yes l am in his corner as l have been a victim of false allegations and know the emotional cost. This story l think just doesn't add up.

Firstly all the headlines reàd that this involves children. Then we find out thats not so. All the girls are in their late 20s. Now thats a tragic case of misreporting that in most Western countries would cost a fortune in damages to reputation.

Secondly the 5 hours of being held in captivity possibly while having cell phones. Well Perry Mason would love that!!!!

Now many of you say whats his service to his country got to do with it. I say it speaks to the man's character. You same people arent asking about her previous jobs and if she has any past record of emotional instability or domestic violence. Oh no!!. He is a Barang and old. Thats enough for many of you to point tbe finger and shame on you!! When the fact that no kids were involved was pointed out didn't hear a word out of you.

Was that aimed at me by any chance? I've never claimed that there were kids/underaged persons involved!

Lets go further.
Girfriend says the accused asked her to cook a meal so he had the sustinance to fuck her sister and another family member. Well cooking involves plenty of potiential weapons. If l had access to knives and someone was holding me captive they better watch out!!!!

whilst I think its irrelevant he used to be a solider many years ago I think the story is utter fantasy fiction for $$$

You have mentioned several times that there were no children involved.

There were children involved. A six year old and a 2 year old.

He has been charged with the illegal confinement of those children. That is child abuse.

We don't know for sure whether he has been charged with threatening to rape those children because of the different accounts given in the Khmer Times and Phnom Penh Post. And if he was allegedly going to rape the adults it would presumably have been in the near proximity of the children because he wasn't going to let anyone leave until he raped all the people he wanted to rape.
