That is shocking, we have sharia courts in the UK, most of them are secret, the ones we know about mainly deal with divorce, fuck knows what happen behind closed doors in the secret ones,

You don't have to go as far as India or Pakistan, or imagine what is happenng in secret courts in England. Abortion is still illegal in Ireland. Even children that have been raped and become pregnant are denied abortion. Imagine that?

This sort of shit is why I stopped being a journalist, it just got so damn depressing to report on terrible things every day. And as we all know, good news is rarely news.

Now I write CVs for people and they get jobs.
I can go to sleep at night knowing that the world is a better place for many, many clients.

Yup, that's how they punish the rapist, with a life sentence, the poor bastard. Imagine the nagging, guilt tripping and the "and you fucking raped me" every time they have an argument over anything.

Sorry, I don't think I made myself clear. I meant everybody knows about Ireland and their backward laws, but nobody seems to be able to do anything about it in an EU member and in 2017. Something to do with religion. No, not that one, a Christian one.
