Shooting in Phnom Penh near Phsar PC

Post by vladimir »

My neighbour, a senior civil servant, just got shot (about 5pm) 5 times outside the school next to Phsar PC, next to Dombok Spor (sp?) pagoda.

Apparently happened when he slowed down near the school.

More news as and when I get it, he is a really nice guy and good neighbour, his family likewise.

He is at the hospital now, no news on his condition.

Latest news, 5 shots fired, 3 hit him, two in the chest, one in the neck.

Apparently he can talk/is conscious, which in itself is a miracle

Holy shit! Vlad, live and on the scene.

If he makes it, his rap career will really take off. (And if he doesn't, God forbid, I'll be deleting ^that comment.)

You say he "slowed down" near the school. Why did he "slow down"?

What I mean is, was he slowing down for an unusual reason, or does he always slow down near the school?

Do you know if he has been involved in the recent events at Freedom Park?

And sorry to hear this, he sounds like a good guy.

Apparently one bullet hit his spine. May be in surgery now, unconfirmed.

He was slowing down near the school because that's what people do: small children are around.
