Phnom Penh: On April 22, at 3:20 am, a 30 year old man, Long Sombath, an online seller, got badly beaten and arrested after shooting a 23 year old woman, Kim Socheata, in front of NagaWorld, Phnom Penh.
According to witnesses, Ms Socheata was drinking with her god-brother and friends near Naga World until late on Saturday night/Sunday morning. Suddenly she saw a man, with whom she had argued with earlier in the evening, driving a motorbike around the park, and so she told her god brother how this man had been disrespectful to her earlier on.

Then her god brother stopped the man on the motorbike to ask him for what happened with his sister and he beat the guy up. The victim became so angry that he took out his K59 pistol and shot the woman in the leg. After that, members of the gangster group jumped on the shooter and beat him up so badly that he was seriously injured.
The victim then called the police, who opened an investigation into the cause of the violence, and then called a tuk tuk to take the victim to hospital for treatment.

Gangsters used to be so much cooler. And better dressed.

If the phone had been damaged then that would have resulted in a death, for sure.
