Just spoke with Phon.
He told me you were only interested in knowing who I am and never asked him if your father owed him any money !
So either him or you are lying. Since I know Phon for 20 years and he never lied to me for anything important yet, i must assume it is you.

As I already said I can't neither edit or delete the very first post and contacted the site admin about it.
I might as well submit to your request and delete all the posts when I can since you talked to Phon and these posts won't achieve more.
You need to understand that phon's is in great need of money these days and the amount owed to him would help him a lot.
I never stated and I think I should, that I have no financial interest in this at all.

Honest and non-hostile question: Did you ever ask your father if he owed a considerable sum of money? Just curious. I mean, everyone gets your disposition (a good daughter would do just what you did). But if you haven't yet, pose the question to your dad.

Expats who have kids, or their partner's kids, or Khmer friends with kids, are the ones who suffer from the sexpat stereotype because they are foreigners hanging out with Khmer kids. AFAIK you will not be arrested for talking to street kids.
Don't take any home with you, but that should be a no-brainer.

I should have been a bit more clear I guess what I'm really afraid of is overzealous APL advocates thinking they're seeing something that doesn't exist.

I would never allow a child in my room for any reason thanks for the heads up on the scam. I've heard of another scam where willing guesthouse operators Will let criminals into your room with a child and wait for you to come home then they will take a picture before you realize what's going on and then the blackmail begins. On my last trip Three little girls approached me asking for my water bottle I gave them a few bucks instead and all three of them hugged me that scared the shit out of me not the children I mean but in my head I was scared of overzealous APL people thinking I was a creep.
