Sometime, it is so easy, you just have to guess the meaning first before you check it. However in order to do that you need a certain level of vocabulary knowledge. Reading can really improve your knowledge of vocabulary.

Yes, I think so. I also read the article and guessed the meaning, but I was not sure if sexpats intend to have sex with only children or women too. then I searched google to see the examples. It's still difficult to distinguish between expat and sexpat.

An expat lives outside his own country

a sex pat TRAVELS outside his own country for the explicit reason to have sex with locals (NOT underage ones)

I am an expat and have been for over 36 years BUT have never been a sexpat, Not saying i have not had sex be it paid for or free LOL
but i never traveled anywhere for that reason only

I think Richard has already given you the meaning of expat and sexpat. I will just point out what to call for those who would like to have sex with children.

For someone who like having sex with children call pedophile or pedos. I challenge you to read about Svay Pak. If you haven't read anything about it, it will shock you to realise the reality of our society.

I've never been to Svay Pak, but I was told that there were only a couple of places there that catered to pedos. Of course, that's a couple of places too many.

Pardon my ignorance but how much of this is reality versus hysteria? And also do you have any advice on what to do when approached by kids on the street frankly I'm scared shitless at this point all I can think to do is to run away from them because it really scares me.
