Search On for Missing Woman AMELIA BAMBRIDGE on Koh Rong, Cambodia (RIP)

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

Frustration over the lack of support by the UK Foreign Office has lead to an online petition asking them to help support the family of the missing British woman, Amelia Brambridge, while they are searching for her in Cambodia.
The FCO aren't helping us find Amelia!? Help us make them LISTEN!

We are starting a petition to reach out to the UK Goverment and plead they help support us to find 21, Worthing UK, Amelia Bamdrige. She has been missing for now nearly a week from Koh Rong Island, Cambodia and her family are running the whole entire operation over there. We have had no support from our own UK Parliment and currently have been without a good translator for days now. This is proving difficult to transfer information to the family and we fear this could hinge our chances of safely bringing her home. It is the duty of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to stand up for British people in need, wherever they are in the world and as of yet, they’ve not done anything of the sort. Please sign!

She is a daughter, a sister, and friend to so many. She is SOMEBODY! Every minute that passes is hell for everyone around her and detrimental to her safety. Please help us find Amelia!

It's a tourist island, dozens of people can translate. You just have to ask someone.
If I had a child missing I wouldn't waste time complaining about "my" government etc.

Well for once the Cambodian forensic experts are right, and they have the photo to prove it.
^^ LOL
Two old school cops - "Hold this for a minute"
Poor dumb stool pigeon - "but but..."
Judge - "Guilty, your fingerprints were all over it"
That's exactly what I thought. Why isn't that bag in an evidence bag and being examined for fingerprints and DNA.
This investigation is being botched from the beginning.
There are way too many people posing for photographs and using this matter as a P.R. opportunity.

Note well, the helicopter and the tracker dog has finally turned up... 1 week after her disappearance

Sihanoukville: The body of Amelia Bambridge has been found floating out to sea by sea forces led by Tea Vichet. There is no doubt as to the identification due to the dead woman's tatoos. RIP and may her family now find peace.

When it comes to The embassy alot of people dont understand what their role is. Then when they get into a situation they realise it.

My embassy here is for political and humanitsrian work and some simple assistance to citizens such as temporary passports.

If I go out drunk and get lost of course there is no way in hell they Will launche some rescue operation. But i know it so i would not be mad. Alot of people got involved into finding her so they should be happy about that. Embassy would not have been able to change The out come.

Its good so that people get to see the harsh truth of life and maybe try to cherrish it a little more.

In my opinion at least.
