Cambodia News, (Kampong Chhnang Province) : There is much grieving tonight in Chhnuk Trou Village, Chhnuk Trou Commune, Baribo District, after a young girl, a 12th grade student at HE Boribo High School, was found floating in the river on December 4, 2020, at Neak Tatang village, Chhnuk Trou commune, Baribo district.The victim was 19-year-old Lam Ratha, a 12th grade student.

The mother of the girl said that before the incident, her daughter (the victim girl) drove a boat to school as usual, but when she did not return home that evening, the parents were very worried about their daughter's safety, so they called on all the local people to go by boat to search for their daughter all night, but with no result.
In the morning, the authorities boarded a search boat and found the body at 8 am at the above point, while the boat that she rode to school on was floating in the middle of the river, more than 500 meters from her body.

After the incident, the technical and scientific police came down to perform an autopsy and took a boat to the scene to find the cause of death of the young victim. The families of the victim, as well as local people, called on the relevant authorities at all levels to help investigate this case to pay attention to the exact cause of death of the young victim. If this is a case of murder, there must be an arrest and punishment according to law.
