Ruckus Between Guards at Quarantine Hotel

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh): A policeman was seriously injured and sent to the hospital after getting attacked by a security man at 11 pm, on March 24, 2021, while the two were guarding a Chinese hotel in lockdown on national road 4, Sangkat Chom Chao 3, Khan Porsenchey, Phnom Penh.

The source from Khan Chaom Chao 3 police said the policeman and the hotel security man were guarding the hotel together, and they had a few drinks to pass the time. But then they both got drunk and started to argue with each other. Finally, the security man attacked the policeman, causing him to get seriously injured, so he called the Chaom Chao 3 police station for backup.

The police arrived and captured the security guard, who resisted arrest and got hit on the head with a handcuff. Both men were half-conscious and bleeding, so the cops sent them for treatment at two different clinics.

The local police reported the case to the criminal police for further proceedings.

...and to ensure continuity of this high grade security, in a process currently under some previous cloud, who exactly took over the task of security?

Of course, it might be argued that they should all be asleep, and therefore security is a little unnecessary.

And on the upside, at least they didn’t shoot each other...
