Royal Gendarmerie Gets Bag Snatched in Phnom Penh

Cambodia Breaking News (Phnom Penh): On June 12,2019, a man who is a member of the Royal Gendarmerie was victim of a drive-by bag-snatch attack near Camko city circle, Khan Toul Kok, Phnom Penh.
The unnamed victim was walking across the road to his car, when two thieves on a motorcycle snatched the bag and drove off. The bag contained US$3000 and a pistol.

After the incident, the victim went to file a complaint at the police station to start a search for the suspects.

No doubt the full force of the 'leu' will be applied in catching these perps. They should've known they were dealing with an officer of the 'leu'.

If you rob a gendarme then chances are that you will get caught.
A 24-year-old man was tracked down and arrested in Battambang on 21 June for the bag snatching which occurred in Phnom Penh on 12 June.
