Rooftop Fire on Monivong Boulevard, Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: After last night's fire near the Old Market, where eleven rooftop shacks were gutted, another fire was declared today in a fifth floor apartment along Monivong Blvd, Monorom Commune, 7 Makara District, Phnom Penh, at 12 pm on Dec. 17, 2018.

Phnom Penh: Cambodia police report that the fire was extinguished at 13:10 pm this afternoon, and that the original fire was contained and prevented from spreading to neighboring properties.

Wonder why it started on the rooftop. Maybe it's a broken $2 power strip?

Most of the houses in Prampi Makara have rooftop slum constructions.

What would cause a fire in a slum construction like that?
