Rogue submarine off Scotland

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

Periscope spotted yet my first thought was Nessie.
My Granda said that the lochs are connected by tunnels & that's how the monster gets away.
The Russians wouldn't dare would they???
Is Great Britain so vulnerable?

The Swedes thought a Russian sub was in their waters just a few weeks ago... Turns out it was a seal.

Defo on Nessie and the connected tunnels which she makes her escape - got that verbatim from the local heroes.
As noted, info is provided as to response capability, whatever the fuck they were going to do exactly ?

"Aircraft involved in the search included two US navy P-3 Orions, a Royal Canadian Air Force CP-140 Aurora and a French navy Dassault Atlantique 2 of the French navy. An RAF Sentinel spy plane also joined the hunt."

It was the English checking out those pesky nonconformist Scots.
As an aside I visited Lich Ness with my Khmer wife in the summer. I gave her lots of stories about the monster beforehand. She stood on the shore next to the hoards of Japanese and Chinese all poised with camera. After about 5 seconds she concluded 'it's all bullshit'.

I was mocked for being insufficiently Scottish. They actually threatened to have me kilt.

I know it is an action novel book plot, but I wonder if there's any truth to Russia sinking leaky boomers around there rather than decommissioning them.
