"Nearly 40 years ago, Cambodian school inspector Poch Younly kept a secret diary vividly recounting the horrors of life under the Khmer Rouge, the radical communist regime whose extreme experiment in social engineering took the lives of 1.7 million Cambodians who died of overwork, medical neglect, starvation and execution."

That would be a very interesting story to read. A great piece of history.

Excellent find. Thanks for posting that link."Why is it that I have to die here like a cat or a dog ... without any reason, without any meaning?" he wrote in the spiral-bound notebook's last pages.

Re: Rare diary gives details of life under Khmer Rouge

some NGO crooks must have convinced this man they could make easy money printing a book with his memories, all peppered with the usual amount of blood and gore and horror stories, next they will tell you the money will go on charity to help other survivors.
