6 suspects arrested related to the raping and killing of the woman.

Phnom Penh: Mr. Yeam Saran, the general in Po Senchey district said, after three days of investigation , on 29 July 2015, police managed to arrest 6 suspects involving in raping and killing a woman, then wrapped her dead body and tossed near Ang Ta Minch pagoda.
They all have confessed that they rapped and then killed her afterward.

Police continued, "before the killing happened, one of them called the woman to sleep with him by giving her 10 dollar, and then he called his other five friends to come and sleep with her without giving her money. So she refused and started the argument, therefore they together killed the woman."

Police confirmed that, "the victim is 30 years old and she was killed and her dead body was naked and wrapped around by the hammock and tossed into one of the free land near Ang Ta Minch pagoda located in Ta Peang Lave village, Kakab commune, Po Chen Chey district. The dead boy had been seen on 26 July 2015."

I don't know what's sadder... that someone's working life is shagging for $10 a pop or that they should have to die for it. This kind of crime, if it had involved a Western woman, would have been international news because she was Khmer it won't even get a mention anywhere else. It's a lousy world sometimes.
