1. A father arrested after he continuously raped his daughter

Prey Veng: Accoring to Koh Santepheap Daily News, a Cambodian man arrested by police after he continuously raped his daughter. She couldn’t put up with him, so she reported it to the village chief.

This incident happened in the night on 04 October 2015 at their house located in Brosna village, Trapeang Sre commune, Mea Sang district.
Police said, the father name Kim Chheng, 52 years old, he is a widowers. He is living with three of this son and daughters. He had 8 children, but 5 of them got married and moved out.

2. An old man raped a 9 year old girl in the bathroom

Kampot: An old man dragged a 9 year old girl into the bathroom and raped her. She reported it to her grandmother which led to the arrest of the old man.

According to Kampuche Thmey, This immoral incident happened around 11:00 pm on 02 October 2015 at Samlang pagoda located in Prosre village, Samlang commune, Angkor Chey district, Kampot province. The victim girl is 9 years old. The old man's name is Roth Than, male, 77 years old. They both live in the same village.

The victim said around 9:00 am she went to pagoda with her grandmother to offer foods for her ancestors. When they reached the pagoda, her grandmother came back home after 30 minutes and left her alone at the pagoda waiting to bring back the containers after the monk finished eating.

She continued, after the monks finished eating, the old man called her to follow him and she said no. After that he dragged her hand and brought her into a bathroom where he managed to rape her. After he raped her, he threatened her not to tell everyone. She came back home and after two days she told her grandmother that grandpa Roth Than raped her.

The old man said, on 02 October 2015, around 11:0 am I asked the girl to stay because I wanted her to bring something back home and then he went to take the bath in the bathroom and the girl. He continued, the girl followed him to bathroom. He told her that he wanted to take a shower, why did she follow him here and then he closed the door. He was staying with her in the bathroom and later on he played with her genital organ. He then took a shower and brought her back home. He denied that he didn’t rape her, however police still prepared document to send him to court.

3. A man arrested after he used a fake necklace to lure a young girl and raped her

A Cambodian man was arrested after the used a fake necklace to lure a 14 years girl to go with him at the bush at the back of her house and then he attempted to rape her and also physically abused her, however he didn’t managed to rape her as villager saw them and reported to police to arrest him.

According to Koh Santepheap, On that day, the man was drinking at a house near the victim house and because he realized the girl was at home alone, so he went up to her house and used a fake necklace to lure her. He told her to come to take the necklace at the bush at the back of her house. She followed him and then he started to rape and physically abused her.

4. A Cambodian man arrested for attempt rape

Steng Treng: A Cambodian man was arrested on 01 October 2015 after police received a complaint from the victim family saying that this man was drunk and went into the room and attempted to rape the victim, but he didn’t manage to rape her.

According to Koh Santepheap, The man name Ra Bunseth, male, 30 years old.

5. A young Cambodian man arrested 3 days later after he raped a 4 years old girl

Battambang : Police sent the young man to the court on 05 October 2015 after he raped a 4 years old girl since Saturday at Banon district.
According to Koh Santepheap News, the young man name Chek Tina, 16 years old living in Chay Rompot village, Konte commune. He was arrested on 03 October 2015 after police received a complaint from the victim family.

The family of the victim said, on that day the young man called the girl to go to catch fish at a stream nearby and because it was quiet, so he raped the girl. The girl didn’t say anything afterward until her family asked her.

6. 70 years old man arrested for raping 9 years old girl

Steng Treng: According to Koh Santepheap Daily News, Police at Sek San district on 06 October 2015 sent a 70 years old man to police station after he managed to lure and rape 9 year old on 05 October 2015. The suspect named Ban Put, 70 years old.

A 14 years old boy arrested for raping a 12 years old girl

Battambang: According to Kampuchea Thmey Daily News, a 12 years old girl was raped by 14 years old boy. It took place on 14 October 2015 around 12:45 pm at serey meanchey commune, Sampov loun commune, Battabang province. On that day the girl was at home alone and then the boy came to her house and talked to her and later on, he called her to go to the cassava farm at the back of her house with him. Then, he raped her no matter how hard she tried to get away from him. The girl remained silent. She didn’t tell anyone in her family, however because she looked upset, so her parents asked and she told them about it which led to the arrest of the boy.
