Fri, 23 September 2016
Kong Meta
A young Kandal couple was having a romantic night out – on meth – when cold-hearted cops apprehended them on Monday.
The 18-year-old boy was arrested along with his 16-year-old girlfriend, and the pair admitted to police that they were guilty of both using and selling.
The star-crossed lovers said they had bought the drugs for $75, and were sampling the product before trying to resell it. Police confiscated 13 bags of meth, and the pair face further legal action.

A friendship ruined, yet again, by karaoke songs
Thu, 22 September 2016
Kong Meta
A man who had borrowed a motorbike from his neighbour on claims of travelling to his hometown instead allegedly travelled straight to a pawn shop to sell the bike on Monday.
Having traded his pal’s trust for a mere $250, the suspect immediately spent the earnings on karaoke and alcohol.
When the owner realised he had been duped, he quickly filed a complaint with police, who swiftly identified and caught the singing swindler.

One wily woman feigns love, steals a motorbike

A savvy scammer conned a drunk accident victim out of his motorbike when she pretended to be his girlfriend in Phnom Penh last Friday.
The femme fatale told cops at the scene of the motorbike crash that she would take the injured and intoxicated man to a doctor, claiming they were a couple.
She was kind enough to drop the drunkard off at a Phnom Penh clinic before taking off with his moto. Police, however, found and apprehended the lying lady on Tuesday.

Mud bath soothes man who made shocking fix
Thu, 29 September 2016
Bun Sengkong
Do-it-yourself home improvements are a risky business as one Battambang man discovered on Monday when he was electrocuted while fiddling with wires in an attempt to install electricity in his home.
The electrocution prompted the man to run away and coat himself with a layer of mud to ease the pain. The home remedy, however, didn’t prevent him from passing out shortly thereafter.
The unconscious man was sent to the hospital by his neighbours, and is now recovering from the shock.

Cops leave drunk driver to sleep off hangover
Mon, 10 October 2016
A Chinese man with positively preternatural snoozing abilities was found fast asleep in his Range Rover parked right in front of an electricity pylon behind his country’s embassy.
He had apparently gotten blind drunk and crashed into it at high speed, yet his slumber remained unbroken.
Compassionate cops weathered the storm and stood by the unconscious driver’s vehicle to ward off potential thieves, but eventually woke him him up after their patience wore thin.
