It's good to see at-least one of those 190 recently purchased military trucks being put to use.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Re: Police Raid Fishing Game at Midnight (VIDEO)
Ive seen these games for years. Amazed at the high attraction to some locals and Chinese. but then I've never looked to see how it works, is there betting involved, has anyone played or become addicted?
Re: Police Raid Fishing Game at Midnight (VIDEO)
Yes there is betting involved, it is easy to shot in the direction of the target but hard to gauge it's depth. A dollar lasted me about a minute. You accumulate points by shooting the targets, different targets are worth more than others.Fourkinnel wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 1:41 pm Ive seen these games for years. They have one of those "fishing game machines" in the arcade in Aeon 1. Of course that one isn't for gambling. But you can see how it's played if you're interested.Fourkinnel wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 1:41 pm Ive seen these games for years. In the place mentioned in the report they are certainly playing for money. In the US they do the same thing with poker machines in a lot of places. They don't actually pay money out of the bottom like a real casino machine. But there is a system in place where you can convert a certain amount of points for money up at the cashier.

I'm always bewildered by the number of entitled young little pricks hanging out at this time of night, whether it's playing fish games, watching their cute little boyfriends play, or the little kids roaming around with their plastic trays of worthless junk, trying to sell that crap!
Do parents not give a f---, or are they out getting drunk at a KTV, or what?
Now I'm beginning to think they carry around those trays of worthless trinkets as an excuse to be in places at times they shouldn't.

Any idea what time of the night this happened. I too am surprised at how many very young kids are left to wander around the streets late at night with no parents in charge. Does not look good for the future.

It is especially startling considering how much things have changed. Not so long ago, when I was first living in Phnom Penh, most streets were basically empty at night. You almost never saw a young person wandering around after dark. Now it seems like the norm. What happened in such little time?
Re: Police Raid Fishing Game at Midnight (VIDEO)
The OP says the arrest occurred after midnight. I understand 'school nights' are currently a thing of the past, but much too young to be out like that. They should send another army truck to pick up their parents and arrest them as accomplices.Duncan wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 3:45 pmTarndog wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2020 3:38 pm I'm always bewildered by the number of entitled young little pricks hanging out at this time of night, whether it's playing fish games, watching their cute little boyfriends play, or the little kids roaming around with their plastic trays of worthless junk, trying to sell that crap!
