Police Prevent Foreigner From Marrying Khmer Woman
Preah Vihear, Cambodia News: On March 01, 2019, the Preah Vihear Immigration Police collaborated with the commune chief to stop a wedding party held to celebrate the marriage of a Chinese man, ZENG YOUXI, to Hen Lina, a 26-year-old Cambodian woman, in Kan Tout village, Cham Kamsan district, Preah Vihear.
The ceremony was unceremoniously stopped by the unexpected interruption of the police, who declared the wedding illegal because the necessary administrative procedures had not been carried out. The couple were instructed to prepare the paperwork for their wedding following the legal procedure, before holding a ceremony.

Was she about to get married in hello kitty pajamas?

They had better hurry up with the paper work,, to me it looks like there is a bun in the oven or perhaps everyone has already eaten too much rice at the ceremony .
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

I wish I could have worn jim-jams and slippers to my wedding.

Phew! Further high crimes and social tragedy averted...
But, confused I am.
5 uniforms.
Sounds a bit overkill.
For the ‘not so family photo’ op, there seem to be some smiles present (officials are clearly enjoying their lot as social killjoys) and nobody appears especially unhappy. It seems the Facebook disease is unstoppable.
Along with not having all the required documents, is it also a crime not to smile in the photo?
In fact, I can only recall seeing one perp in the last ten months who didn’t stand ready and smile for the mugshots.
