Phnom Penh, Cambodia News: At 2:50 am on Dec. 29, 2018, on the National Road 1 in Niroth commune Chbar Ampov, Phnom Penh, an unidentified man was driving an ISUZU car with license plate 2AT-7116 in a west to east direction, when he slammed into two lamp posts on a road divider. Witnesses at the scene said that the car was badly damaged, and that the driver appeared to be very drunk, so they called the police, who arrived immediately.

Journalists who arrived at the accident scene said police ordered them not to take photos of the driver. However, some photos were taken either by journalists or by-standers. They said that the police allowed the unidentified driver to take his belongings from the accident vehicle and drive off in another car which was waiting to pick him up.

The traffic police then called for a tow-truck and removed the vehicle from the scene. It will be kept at the police station until the car owner has paid for damage to state property.

It will take a fair while longer, but the locals will catch on eventually - look out when they do. :beer3:
