Police Compensate Truck Driver $350 for Accident

Cambodia News, Phnom Penh: At 10:35 pm on May 29, 2020, a police officer caused an accident in Stung Meanchey 1, Meanchey district, Phnom Penh.

A police officer driving a white RX330, license plate number Phnom Penh 2AW-0575, was driving fast and furiously when he crashed into a white Hyundai truck with a 3D-5552 license plate parked on the roadside. According to the car driver, he had problems seeing, because it was dark and visibility was poor.

The truck was dented in the back and the policeman's car was badly damaged. People at the scene report that there were three drunk police officers in the car.

Following the incident, forces from Stung Meanchey Police Station 1 went to the above location to pay $ 350 compensation for the damage.
