Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. Looks like no pigs were on the truck, amazing how they run away leaving injured to suffer, especially when they are the drivers

Given the cages were empty I think we can safely assume they are all now very dead and either eaten and awaiting to be eaten.

Yeah, what is it with drivers always fleeing the scene? The lorry owners will know who they are, they'll just go to their home and find them hiding under a table or in a hammock.

Its very odd, being that such as a very serious accident has this, the trusted and responsible driver employed by the owner does a Roger Bannister (who broke the four-minute-mile} how quick was the truck driver to escape the crowd and authorities.
It seems the law is that, the owner is not responsible, so even knowing or not knowing his employee is not in question, so when his driver stops hiding under a table or in a hammock somewhere and recovers his breath back from all the running about, he will probably return to work.
Always "hope" but never "expect".
