Those pesky door frames and aggressive floor tiles.Somewhere along the line, the suspect was beaten up by a person or persons unknown, and his face was bleeding at the time of his arrest.
Re: Phnom Pehn Snatcher Gets Bloody Face
If only other countries would take this approach. In my country they'd focus more on the person who beat him up than they would the robbery. And the person who beat him up would probably be punished more severely.CEOCambodiaNews wrote: ↑Fri Jul 19, 2019 2:03 pm Somewhere along the line, the suspect was beaten up by a person or persons unknown, and his face was bleeding at the time of his arrest.
From the look on the policemans face, it appears he tried to resist arrest and the policeman was having none of it. Good job, well done.

Yea, sometimes the police deserve karma points.

I agree to an extent but it usually depends on who the perp is and their behavior, police brutality is not exactly unknown in the west. What's amazing is how in many countries you can't even defend your own home from aggravated burglary without getting charged. Some little chav/ skanger cunt who has a huge record for violent record can sue you because they cut themselves on the razor wire/ glass you put on your wall to prevent twats like that climbing over. When I was in my teens we always kept a shotgun under my father's bed, and if we heard anyone sneaking about I'd go straight for it. I knew it was likely I'd get arrested if I shot any intruder but we honestly didn't give a fuck, we were well pissed off with people robbing stuff and warning shots from a 12 guage work well too. That's one good thing about the US, you have more rights in defending yourself.

In terms of policing and justice, you really prefer the way Cambodia does it than the UK?
Despite the drawbacks of UK policing, I don't think the best way of improving things is to give police the authority to kick the shit out of people without any evidence or reason.

When I had farms in NZ my u/o shotgun was always kept in the kitchen cupboard loaded with two shells that had the pellets taken out and replaced with barley grains . Years before I did experiments to see what damage was done if fired at cardboard boxes at variable distances and using short range and long range shells.
I came to the conclusion that they would most times do no damage to a person, but the feeling of something rushing past you or hitting you lightly would make a person shit their pants.
Come to think about it, I miss having a day of clay pigeon shooting. Is it like riding a bike ? or does one forget how to hit the clay bird.

True. But where there is clearly is evidence and / or reason, I have no problem in them dishing out a bit of personal justice before it all starts to get formal.Terry Fishsauce wrote: ↑Fri Jul 19, 2019 8:14 pmIn terms of policing and justice, you really prefer the way Cambodia does it than the UK?
