Pete Boogs aka Boomer aka Peter Carlo Bogaerts Checks Out on Street 172 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia

"Grow some balls", " be a man", yes it would appear these things are not very helpful to say to someone dealing with depression. Who would've thought?

That’s very disrespectful.

They are things that frequently appear in articles advising a person what to, and what not to, say to depressed men. Some cultures have this mentality, especially in older generations.
Despite what angsta states, it’s clear from reading through his posts that angsta supports the free FreePalestine movement.

Why are we "outing" posters when they die by telling the world what their username was? The last thing I want is for my family to google my name when I die and see all the stupid stuff I've written on these forums. Why isn't the confidentiality of a poster's ID preserved after death?

Yet you have no qualms discussing the overdose of a frenchman just yesterday and questioned why an article that described him as a drug addict and homosexual wasn t cited. Your "stupid stuff" deserves anonymity, the departed french engineer's does not? I suspect his sexual orientation and drug abuse was far less confrontational than your posts can be. elohssa si a camnivag, if you get my drift.Cam Nivag wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2019 4:03 pm Why are we "outing" posters when they die by telling the world what their username was? If there's no shame in using drugs, and no shame in being gay, why are you offended by news reporting that a dead guy was a gay drug user? It can help to explain why people are dropping dead, which is in the public interest to know, so people can avoid dropping dead and avoid certain drugs and get tested for various diseases that could kill them.Anthony's Weiner wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2019 4:57 pm Yet you have no qualms discussing the overdose of a frenchman just yesterday and questioned why an article that described him as a drug addict and homosexual wasn t cited.
Newspaper writers don't pledge to keep the lives and identities of dead people a secret. This site (and TOF) claim to preserve the anonymity of posters. The policy shouldn't be "we'll respect your anonymity as a poster until you die and then we'll out you to the world."

Welfare of the general public (in contrast to the selfish interest of a person, group, or firm) in which the whole society has a stake and which warrants recognition, promotion, and protection by the government and its agencies.

I see your point, his death was kind of like a public service announcement, if you are gay and use drugs, you may end up dead. Not at all voyeuristic, I suspect those that post stupid stuff on this site and TOF will end up dead as well someday. No doubt in your mind exposing his homosexuality and drug abuse on the forum will save countless lives of the drug-addicted gay men that read your posts. Fortunately whatever your lifestyle is will be protected from the public interest.

Wait, your family doesn't know who you are online? I find that hard to believe.Cam Nivag wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2019 4:03 pm Why are we "outing" posters when they die by telling the world what their username was? It's a good point, but it seems that everyone who passes has always been written about like this. Should we have two topics about their deaths? One with their real name and other with their username? That could work, although I think we tried that when LTO passed away, and we ended up with 2 public topics and a hidden Darknet topic as well.

Holy fuck, are you for real?
You sure take your online presence seriously, don't you?
You're talking about a couple of goofy obscure web forua involving Cambodia.
Regretfully you're at the mercy of the capricious whim of the owners. Personally, if push came to shove, I wouldn't trust the Admin/mods here further than I could throw them, when it comes to protecting any personal information they have on me.... and I post accordingly.
ffs, if you're so embarrassed about your posting behavior maybe you should have thought to enter into a binding contract with GONK backed by the full force of law in a venue of your choosing....which upon your death is enforced by a previously agreed upon executor, who will ensure your precious anonymity, from your oblivious family and the rest of us jackals.
Actually, I'm impressed that you apparently have enough close contacts that it causes you to wake up in a fop-sweat at the thought of them discovering your peculiar CEO missives, postmortem. You're a touch less the psychopathic weirdo I thought you were, well done.
