They are things that frequently appear in articles advising a person what to, and what not to, say to depressed men. Some cultures have this mentality, especially in older generations.

Why are we "outing" posters when they die by telling the world what their username was? The last thing I want is for my family to google my name when I die and see all the stupid stuff I've written on these forums. Why isn't the confidentiality of a poster's ID preserved after death?

Yet you have no qualms discussing the overdose of a frenchman just yesterday and questioned why an article that described him as a drug addict and homosexual wasn t cited. Your "stupid stuff" deserves anonymity, the departed french engineer's does not? It can help to explain why people are dropping dead, which is in the public interest to know, so people can avoid dropping dead and avoid certain drugs and get tested for various diseases that could kill them.

I see your point, his death was kind of like a public service announcement, if you are gay and use drugs, you may end up dead. Not at all voyeuristic, I suspect those that post stupid stuff on this site and TOF will end up dead as well someday. No doubt in your mind exposing his homosexuality and drug abuse on the forum will save countless lives of the drug-addicted gay men that read your posts. Fortunately whatever your lifestyle is will be protected from the public interest.
