3 People Poisoned by Eating a Toad Egg

Kampong Thom, Cambodia News: 3 people - 2 men and 1 woman - were poisoned after eating a toad egg at 8 pm on August 21, in Sothok krao, Kampong Thom.

The police reported that victims were identified as Phan Phea, a 50-year-old woman, who was seriously sick, Seun Khorn, a 55-year-old man, and Phan Ki, a 43-year-old man. They were all taken to the hospital to be treated on time, and they will recover.

I've seen plenty of toads but none big enough to lay an egg that could feed or poison 3 people. Are there giant toads in Kampong Thom?

I thought the same, the eggs are tiny like a piece of tapioca or something. Maybe they ate a whole string of them?

Hmm, frogspawn, yummy. Hiing seems to translate back as puffed out, maybe this is another horrible rotten chicken egg thing.
