An old woman was threaten for money by her son

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

First of all, if I had never had the occasion to read the tortured English of this meaningless piece of "non-news- I would still have had a full and meaningful life. So, the importance of this "filler" is lost on me. As for the translation my criticism still.stands. But fellow readers, if you read this for anything but "yuks" it can only be because you demand low standards. OK, chewing gum for the brain, you got it

So are you going to start contributing riveting, thoughtful new threads that are of interest to you and solicit interesting discussion with other posters? I look forward to reading such contributions from you, unless you are one of those who seem content with only complaining about threads that you find unworthy of your impressive intellectual abilities.

Weak Rutiger, shamefully weak. An insult without substantiation. It's like being hit by a semi and walking away undamaged.

Very predictable response. Carry on complaining without adding anything new or interesting. :thumb:

Not toward anyone in particular but  If you don't like the translation then do it yourself; If you don't like the subject of the thread then don't read it. If you don't find it funny, then don't laugh. If the forum is boring then contribute something more interesting or read something else.

That screwdriver doesn't even look like a flathead. Looks like it was sharpened. What a tool.
