Officer Burns Down the House After Quarrel with Wife

Cambodia News (Phnom Penh) On November 23, 2021, a couple was heard quarreling through the night, when suddenly at 11:31pm, the angry husband set fire to rented room where they were staying. This fire incident happened in the Khva Village, Dangkor Commune, Dangkor District.
The arsonist was a 27 year old military officer named Soth Piseth, while the landlord of the rented property in which Soth Piseth stayed in is Sous Kimsan, a 66-year-old retired teacher.

When the house was set on fire, the fire spread to the neighbors' house, but the fire brigade sent 6 fire engines carrying 24 cubic meters of water in total to put out the fire. There was much material damage but no injuries.

No wonder the entire building was destroyed, 24 cubic metres is nowhere near enough.
