Thanks for the update and it is of some consolation that the scumbag got at least some jail time.
However, it does boil my piss that pleading guilty gets such a substantial term reduction. On a more optimistic note, the minimum term is just that. A parole hearing would have to satisfy itself that he is no longer a danger and it seems he has a lifetime's history of offending.

If there is the will from any of his victims, and I can well understand it would be traumatic for them once again, I'm sure they can make life difficult for a parole board to release him. It's a pity APLE have done fuck all to help and I'd be pretty sure they will do the square root of fuck all to help in the future but if it could be shown for sure he offended in Cambodia as well, that might influence a parole decision.

It also goes without saying that the connection to the Beaumont case needs to be relentlessly and continuously clarioned. The police will do nothing it seems, they will not respond to internal processes and procedures. The only way they will be leveraged into action is through media and political involvement. They are going to have to be embarrassed, pressured, bullied and ordered to take action and that will involve the media taking up the cause and politicians getting on a public interest bandwagon - it's what they do.

I'm not Australian so have no idea what media organisations need to be mobilised or which politicians are the easy wins so can't help there. It's a pity that a lot of the loud mouth cunts who spend their lives protesting about non-existent prejudices and micro-aggressions, obsessing about pronouns and safe spaces don't actually get involved in something that actually means something and use their platform to right a genuine wrong.

The sentence reduction was brought into legislation to try and reduce the backlog of the courts system by offering an incentive to plead guilty. If the accused would receive the same penalty regardless of plea then every criminal would go to trial regardless of guilt hoping to get off.

The legislation had been tested in the supreme court though on whether it applied to murder which carries a mandatory life sentence in south Australia with a minimum parole period of 20 years. The supreme court ruled the legislation does not apply for murder.

If there is evidence he abused children in Cambodia or wouldn't need to worry about parole as it would be possible for commonwealth prosecutors to charge him as there are federal laws to cover sex crimes outside of Australia.

Also, the attorney General, can apply to the courts, that if he is deemed unable or unwilling to control criminal sexual urges then he can be detained indefinitely. Probably unlikely though if they can't prove he's committed any offence in the last couple of decades.

I say, dig up the well.

There's plenty of media interest in this and will continue to be. As for the concept of a documentary about it.... we have those basis well covered too. And Derryn has been in contact in recent months, without the need for us to chase him. Another big step was taken yesterday with the sentencing of Munro, and on Monday with Major Crime interviewing Andrew. There are more steps that will now be taken and we will most definitely look to support out of Cambodia as this happens as we believe there remain connections, knowledge, intelligence and involvement of people Munro maintained relationships with over in Cambodia.

I hope someone gives him the Sure Shank Redemption

This post has been written on behalf of my brother Andrew McIntyre regarding SAPOL’s response to the allegations that twice convicted paedophile Anthony Munro and our now deceased father Allan Maxwell McIntyre (Max) were involved in the abduction and murder of the three Beaumont children.
There is now overwhelming physical and anecdotal evidence that our father was involved in the abduction, murders, and body disposals of several South Australian missing children, including Jane, Aarna and Grant Beaumont.
This evidence includes a diary which puts my father and Anthony Munro regularly on Glenelg beach leading up to Australia Day 1966; testimony from my sister Ruth that our father showed her the bodies of Jane, Aarna and Grant in the boot of a car outside our Edwardstown home; and a statement from our father declaring that Anthony Munro did indeed take the three dead Beaumont children to our house the day they went missing.
According to our sources, another fourth witness has also come forward and made statements to SAPOL that Max and Munro were involved in the Beaumont disappearance.
I have made my own allegations to SAPOL regarding my father’s involvement in other children’s abductions and murders. I witnessed the murders of six children during my childhood. Although I cannot yet name all of those victims, I am certain of the identity of the girl whom my father murdered in front of me in 1983.
Despite giving extensive information to SAPOL about this child’s murder in 2012, and indicating where I witnessed her burial, SAPOL continue to refuse to investigate. Instead they endeavoured to search a property which had already been investigated previously and which yielded nothing. SAPOL then followed up by convicting a SECOND innocent man, at great cost to the State taxpayer, for this girl’s murder. A previous man was convicted for her murder in 1985 but that conviction was quashed on appeal. The second man to be convicted is now awaiting an appeal to overturn what I know is a bogus conviction against him.
I will go even further now to say that I believe that I was harassed, belittled, cajoled, misled, and refused assistance by the Major Crime officer who heard my allegations in 2012 (witnessed by my lawyer and mother) in an attempt to refute my witness account. I believe that this farce of law enforcement was acted out as this officer had a vested interest in convicting an innocent man of this girl’s murder. I was even contacted late on a Saturday night by this detective who did everything possible to convince me that the child’s murder I witnessed was not the girl in question. Afterwards, media reports showed information, never before aired, which downgraded two of the three pertinent facts that I had given to Major Crime in 2012 about this girl which had never before been reported by the media and which I could not possibly have provided had I not known her. This included the fact that her hair was shorter and sun bleached when she went missing as opposed to the younger photo always aired in media reports where she is shown with a longer, ‘bob’ hairstyle; and the fact that she was interred under concrete.
As followers of this page are no doubt aware, there is a petition going to force SAPOL to dig for the remains of Jane, Aarna and Grant Beaumont in the sink hole of my father’s former Stansbury property. Andrew alleges that Anthony Munro took him to Stansbury specifically to point out that our grandfather’s well had been filled in shortly after Australia Day 1966.
My corroborating siblings and I have made repeated allegations to SAPOL since 2006 that our father incestuously abused all three of us. Some of that abuse correlates to injuries found on the bodies of ‘Family’ victims of the 1980’s and which I have posted about on this page previously.
On the 28th of August 2017, 20 hours shy of Anthony Munro’s sentencing in the Magistrates court (29th Oct) two officers of the Major Crime department finally interviewed my brother Andrew regarding his witness account of events on and after Australia Day 1966. It’s been a 10 year wait for Andrew to finally be allowed the right to give his statement. He has been illegally refused that right by several SAPOL officers in the Major Crime department and Netley Police station in previous years.
Despite the overwhelming evidence to support the allegations made by Andrew, Ruth and Max that Anthony Munro was involved in the deaths of the Beaumont children, as well as the Expedition and Salvage diary (given to SAPOL in 2016) which puts Max, Andrew, Anthony Munro and another neighbourhood boy on Glenelg Beach in the days and weeks before Australia Day 1966, Major Crime have still failed to issue a warrant to dig at my father’s former Stansbury property for the remains of Jane, Aarna and Grant.
Since Munro’s sentencing on the 29th August, Andrew and his legal counsel have sought to obtain a copy of the transcript of the interview between Andrew and Major Crime. Two weeks later Andrew is still waiting on a copy of that transcript.
This is how the major crime department in South Australia treats witness information about serious crimes.
Clearly SAPOL’s Major Crime department already have all the answers regarding the many unsolved missing children’s cases in this state. At least, they have all of the answers which they are prepared to allow the community to be aware of.
On the 25th of August two SAPOL Special Crimes Unit (SCU) officers drove 100 kms to my home town to kindly tell me what I already knew, that SAPOL cannot continue to investigate my allegations against my now dead father Allan Maxwell McIntyre of incest and knife assault. After all, you cannot convict a corpse.
I have a great deal of respect and appreciation for the SCU. After all, they were the only arm of SAPOL who would listen to Andrew regarding the abuse he suffered at the hands of Anthony Munro. Because of the SCU Munro was convicted and sentenced for Andrew’s (and another victim’s) abuse.
I do not hate police. I know some truly dedicated, hard working officers. But I am disgusted by the manner in which Ruth, Andrew and I have been treated by certain members of the Sex Crimes Investigation Bureau, Major Crime department, Police Complaints Authority (which is now defunct due to incompetence/corruption) and the two particular officers of the Police Ombudsman’s office who thought it appropriate to defame me to protect their own necks.
Whilst I appreciated the efforts of the two SCU officers who came to see me recently, I am still really angry that my allegations, first made in 2006, were never adequately followed up by two particular officers of the Sex Crimes Investigation bureau. These officers ignored my statement despite being ‘directed’ by a higher ranking officer (in 2007) to thoroughly investigate the corroborating sexual abuse allegations of myself and my sister Ruth Collins.
The only reason that the Special Crimes Unit were even aware of my allegations against my father was because I recently engaged a very diligent and excellent member of parliament to liaise with SAPOL, the Attorney-General, Police Ombudsman and Police Minister on my behalf regarding my allegations.
Through the very helpful SCU officer who did all that he could to assist me I learned that SAPOL did not even have my original 2006 statement about my father’s incestual abuse. This was very interesting given that my lawyer had sent a second, re-draughted version of my original 2006 statement to SCIB in 2007 also. Therefore, BOTH of my statements about my father’s sexual abuse and knifing incident were ‘lost’ by the Sex Crimes Investigation bureau.
How convenient.
This has happened to us before. It’s lucky that Ruth, Andrew and I keep all of our statements.
I’ve learned recently that the allegations which myself and two siblings have made against our father should have been referred to the Special Crimes Unit by SCIB years ago. Also, given that one of my allegations (made officially in 2012) of child abduction and sexual abuse involved a convicted paedophile and former chief inspector of police, my allegations of these events SHOULD have been referred to the SCU in 2012.
It has been pointed out to me repeatedly over the years that our stories are so ‘out there’ that Ruth, Andrew and I have been labelled by SAPOL as insane. I would like to point out that I have never been assessed as mentally incompetent, insane or otherwise. Neither have Ruth or Andrew. We have never spent time in psychiatric care. Not one of us. Similarly, there is not one criminal conviction between us. We each chose to have ourselves psychiatrically assessed in 2007 in attempt to lend credence to our allegations. Against all protocol, to the astonishment of our assessing psychiatrist, no-one from SAPOL has ever contacted him to discuss our mental health.
If Andrew’s allegations against Anthony Munro were not credible, Munro would not have been recently sentenced to ten years of imprisonment for Andrew (and another boy’s) abuses.
I believe that our allegations and witness testimonies are being ignored to protect those in SAPOL who have continued to defame and denigrate us over the past 11 years as we attempted to give our witness testimonies of horrific events. The lack of action by these officers allowed Anthony Munro to allegedly continue funding orphanages in Cambodia. It is also alleged by Cambodian media that Munro abused two Cambodian boys in recent years.
I hope those SAPOL officers read this and understand the brevity of what they are now responsible for. They are not law enforcement officers. They are the protectors of paedophiles.
