Not everyone is happy with the chinese invasion

Cambodia news in English! Here you'll find all the breaking news from Cambodia translated into English for our international readership and expat community to read and comment on. The majority of our news stories are gathered from the local Khmer newspapers, but we also bring you newsworthy media from Cambodia before you read them anywhere else. Because of the huge population of the capital city, most articles are from Phnom Penh, but Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, and Kampot often make the headlines as well. We report on all arrests and deaths of foreigners in Cambodia, and the details often come from the Cambodian police or local Khmer journalists. As an ASEAN news outlet, we also publish regional news and events from our neighboring countries. We also share local Khmer news stories that you won't find in English anywhere else. If you're looking for a certain article, you may use our site's search feature to find it quickly.

Honest, normal, hardworking chinese with money are welcome and criminal scum is not welcome.
Normal barangs that are spending money are welcome and drugusing sextourists with no money are not welcome anymore.
That's my impression.

Interestingly not all.
I was chatting to a Chinese businessman who has been here for the past 12 or so years.

He said ‘new Chinese no good, all gangster, not polite, make my life difficult’

He said there was growing concern amongst people like him.
Fair call.
For some strange reason though, I actually feel that given that the Chinese represent something like 25% of the planet's population; we have to redress the global situation as an us and us situation as opposed to the us and them mentality that is hardwired in all of us.
Weird idea, I know and fucked if I can see it happening....anyhoo, I digress.

I met chinese girls while trekking in nepal and they where really nice. It's about getting in contact and then you realize that not all of them are like the ones at don muang that behave like animals.

The Chinese certainly have some eye-opening jazz magazines, when my landlord had her sister doing up my bathroom I had to shit in the storage room of the Chinese restaurant next door. I found some scud hidden on a shelf whilst engaged in wistful thought. A whole section on peeing at the back.

Born in Australia, not a fake refugee on the dole.

Too many of them like that here.

All thirdworlders need to go home.
