Cambodia News, (Phnom Penh): On December 28, 2021, a fraud suspect, CHUKWUEKE FELIX CHIBUEZE, was remanded in custody by Cambodian authorities.
The suspect, a 47-year-old Nigerian man living in Phnom Penh, was setting up fake accounts on social media, where he pretended to be a rich man living overseas. He would befriend unsuspecting women and become Facebook friends with them online, and then pretend to fall in love with them. When the women were hooked, he would scam them by asking financial help to send money or other objects to them.

The authorities would like to remind those who always use social media to be very careful when dealing with strangers in order to avoid being cheated.

I hope they publish the fake handles he used online. List his profiles, so his potential vics don't think they said something that chased away the lover of their dreams, Don Juan.

Nothing like an elder Khmer granny setting a young one straight. It's brutal. But these girls need to learn. Sometimes you've got to be cruel to be kind.

What's the point of blurring the face of a romance internet scammer ?
Most of perps faces aren't blurred.
Seing his face could help victims to testify.
The media is clearly wasting opportunities when editing his report...

Been seeing more and more in Pontoon since i returned every time I see them with a bottle I think how many elderly people with alzheimer's did they phone scam for that, is that racist? LOL
