Nigerian Drunk Driver Injures 3 and Kills 1 in Phnom Penh

A Nigerian man was drunk driving and hit one vegetable cart and other three motorbikes which caused one person died and three other seriously injured.

Phnom Penh: A woman died and three other people were seriously injured after a Nigerian man was drunk driving and hit one vegetable cart dragging 10 meter or so and continued to hit three other motorbikes in front of Blue Zone Night Club along street 1986, Phnom Penh Thmey, Sen Sok district.

Source from the scene, “before the accident took place, there was a black CHEVROLET car driven by a drunken Nigerian man and there were some ABC beers inside the car. The car was heading from the East to West along street 1986 on the left hand side and hit the vegetable cart driven by a man and there was a woman sitting on the cart. They are brother and sister in law. They were heading from the West to East to go to buy vegetable at Deoum Kor market. They hadn’t bought the vegetable yet, but was hit by the car and were stuck with the car and dragging the along the road 10 meter or so which caused the woman sitting on the cart died immediately and left the man (driver) seriously injured. However, he (Nigerian) didn’t stop the car and continued to hit other two motorbikes who just left the Blue Zone Night Club which caused 2 people seriously injured. Then it continued to hit another parked motorbike on the sidewalk with the man sitting on waiting to take his relative home after work, but he was not injured as he managed to jump off motorbike.

The woman who died names Yi Sreymach, female, 28 year old, vegetable vendor, living in Khmouch village, Khmouch commune, Sen Sok district. Her husband name Von Vorn, 26 years old (Mute). They have one son and one daughter. The brother in law, who is living together with the woman names Von One, was seriously injured. The other two victims name Prak Visal, male, 20 years old, Blue Zone Night Club’s staff, Kim Sopheak, male, 22 years old, working together.

After the accident, the Nigerian man didn’t get off the car and he grabbed the ABC beer and drank it inside the car. Having seen this the mob was so mad and tried to hit the Nigerian man, however the police prevented them and evacuated the Nigerian man to the police station in Sen Sok district and left behind his car. The mob was really angry with the police for evacuating the African man. Later they used rocks, stones and helmets to break the car frontal mirror.

Titles should try to include as much unique info as possible.

I find it ironic that we mention "American, British, Australian, Filipino, etc" in topic titles all the time, but the ONLY one you notice and point out happens to be from the same continent (Africa) as you.
